Feeding Program

Imagine you are an 8 year old and you are starting your school work without breakfast and you know that there won't be much at home for lunch that day.  It's hard to focus on your school work, when all you can think about is how hungry you are. For less than than a cup of coffee a day, a child will be fed a nutritious meal.

The Feeding Program has been feeding 65+ students daily since 2008.

How is it done?

  • Partnership with village leadership, school administration and BMS

  • Program managed by two local women with a heart for serving the children of the village

  • Children selected based on need

Join us to be a part of making a difference in a child's life for only $30 a month.

Children receive:

  • Hot nutritious lunch served daily at school

  • Registration fees for school

  • School uniforms as needed

Students like Jean need your help in achieving their goals with a high school education.  See his testimony below.

BMS is dedicated to making your donation have the highest impact possible on a child life.  Are you willing to believe in a student for $60 a month, $2 a day?

Jean shares with us a few words of gratitude:

"I just want to shout out a big thank you to the Belize Mission Society and its donors for the scholarship. If it's wasn't for the scholarship I don’t know where I would be at this moment. My first two years of high school were not so pleasing.  Thanks to Miss Cathy and Miss Sue for not giving up on me. Thank you for believing in me, believing that I can do it. Even when I didn't have hope in myself, you did."
